from Philly.com October, 2015:
"Go west, funny ladies: Center City-based sketch and improv comedian Barbara Bush and her "First Ladies of Comedy" ensemble will represent Philly at the three-day Crossroads Comedy Festival, in Indianapolis, this weekend. The six-member troupe, whose motto is "Cliteracy for All," includes one of our own, Jolie Darrow, daughter of the People Paper's Chuck Darrow. I'm told they wowed a standing-room-only audience Sunday at the Adrienne Theatre (2030 Sansom St.)."

"In 2014, a group of a bunch of cuties came together to start an all-female improv team, and named themselves Barbara Bush. Much like the actual Barbara Bush, they are both the wife and mother of a president, and by president, I mean making you laugh your socks off (but I don’t mean Socks the cat… wrong president.). In late 2014 they decided to delve into the world of sketch comedy as well. This Thursday and Friday, you can see them at 9:00 with their debut of their newest show, BBTV. They will be opening for The Incredible Shrinking Matt and Jacquie. Jacquie Baker also happens to be Barbara Bush’s sketch director."

"On Thursday and Friday at the Philly Improv Theater, you have two chances to leave the kids at home to go see some Sketch Comedy. It’s impossible to raise these kids while also maintaining a normal 3-comedy-show-a-week social life, but leave them home anyway and see local sketch duo The Incredible Shrinking Matt and Jacquie at the Adrienne Theater. For this new show, Matt Schmid and Jacquie Baker will be joined by sketch all-star-up-starts Barbara Bush. Thursday/Friday 9pm. $10."
